This Privacy Policy explains how Wager ("Wager," "we," "us") handles information when you join our waitlist, visit this site, or use the Wager app and its iMessage extension. By using our services you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

• Information you provide. Your email address when you join the waitlist; your phone number when you create an account; and a display name or profile details you choose to add.
• Eligibility & verification data. Information needed to confirm you are 18 or older and located in an eligible jurisdiction, and identity details collected by our payment partners during deposit or withdrawal.
• Gameplay & transaction data. Matches you play, scores, wagers, and records of deposits, withdrawals, and on-chain escrow references.
• Device & usage data. Approximate location (for eligibility), device and app version, and basic analytics about how the app is used.

2. How we use information

• To operate matches, hold stakes in escrow, and pay out winners.
• To verify age and location, prevent fraud, and enforce our rules and AML obligations.
• To provide support, send service messages, and (with your consent) product updates.
• To improve the app and keep it secure.

3. Custody of funds

Player funds are held in a self-custodial wallet and lock into an on-chain smart-contract escrow for each match. Wager does not take custody of your funds and does not have access to your wallet's private keys. Fiat deposits and withdrawals are processed by third-party payment partners under their own terms and privacy policies.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the service, including with:

• Payment, identity-verification, and infrastructure providers who process data for us.
• Regulators or law enforcement where required by law.
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to opt out of certain processing. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

6. Data retention & security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting, and AML requirements, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no system is perfectly secure.

7. Children

Wager is strictly for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we will delete such information if we learn we have it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above.
